Modern Contemporary Open Plan Kitchen Case Study | Huddersfield

Published: 3 November 2019

This recently extended Traditional Yorkshire Stone Cottage sat on one of the many hills above Huddersfield with far ranging views towards Calderdale, Halifax and beyond.

Making the best use of the views the clients wanted to renovate the kitchen, focusing on a contemporary design but open up the available space giving flexibility when entertaining.

Removing internal walls and ensuring ample light flowed through we created an open living concept that delivered an urban look and feel but detailed raw stone masonry work which ensured the kitchen was in keeping with the traditional cottage appeal.
